AEFENGLOM: THE FAE

( ooc: info snagged from events and elsewhere; this is incomplete, as there are some types of questions viren obviously wouldn't have thought to ask, or things he wouldn't have learned from other characters. )

GENERAL
• The "fairfolk."
• Weak to fire and ice, more susceptible to Cwyld.
• Weakest to pure iron; the less worked upon, the better.
• Illusion magic, and able to see through illusions.

PIXIES
• Pixies have not been seen in more recent years, but presumably exist in the Wilde, someplace. (coven)*
• Considered to be "Fae-adjacent," without being Fae themselves. Thought of as non-humanoid by the Coven. (coven)*
• They were part of the courts at one times, serving as harbingers of the changing seasons. (coven)*
• Their language has evidently be lost. (coven)*

DORCHACHT
• The Fae were driven out ages ago. (auctioneer)*
• The Fae were killed, deemed too dangerous to continue existing. (resistance)*
• Legend says that the Fae selfishly kept the secret of magic to themselves. Once humanity stumbled upon it, and began to use magic to their own benefit, the Fae grew jealous and angry. They then cursed the lands with the Cwyld. (citizens)*
• There are no records of any infection outbreaks nor anything involving the Dragon or Faekind contained within the Library. (library)*
SEPTEMBER DREAM
• The Fae here are annoying and useless.
• Perhaps a dream of the future.

JANUARY DREAM
• Notably, no Fae or Chimera within the Wilde.
• The natives here feared the Fae; they are met with fear and revulsion as they keep iron on hand.
• The Fae here were more insectoid, and taller than modern Fae.
• These Fae are delighted by "little humans" using magic. They kept humans collared and their purpose seems to be to complete heavy labor. They are treated as servants, thought of as pets. (collared humans, fae)*
• These Fae are entertained by Chimera gladiators, who fight within pits. Chimeras seem to be bred for sport.

MARCH DREAM
• The Fae here take after beetles.*
• They tend not to leave the city, and are a rare sight.*
• These Fae behave as typical of modern Fae.*
